No Longer Street Boys...

I am living in the Restoration house, which is a house for boys that have been living on the streets, at the moment there are 8 boys in the house.

Well on Wednesday two boys left...They had been in the house over 10 years. The older one Welbert has gone through university, and his younger brother Jonatas is half way through his college course studying tourism. Together they have built their own house, and a good bases of a future for themselves...

They have gone from boys living on the streets coming from a nasty family situation to grown adults with their own independence, a strong faith in God, and a hope and a future to really succeed to life...This has not always been the easiest transition for them, they have had to learn a lot of life's lessons, about respects, discipline, taking responsibility for their learning and own things plus more.
It is so exciting to be able to share in such an exciting moment with the boys and the staff of the house, as the workers here invest so much time, love, patience and wisdom into their lives to help them change and reach their full potential in life....
For me this is a real miracle - two street boys, now two educated men living a good life...
