On Monday there was yet another public holiday (within 3 months I believe this is the 4 day off!!)...so as a Children at Risk school, with friends we celebrated our time here and 2 birthdays
I feel this day is best expressed through pictures...

The men doing the BBQ - not like an English BBQ - they cook large pieces of meat and then cut in up into smaller pieces - so yummy!!

Birthday cake - so yummy!! In Brazil they use for the icing a mixture of condensed milk and something else - a million calories but so worth it!!

A day of fun is not complete without games - they love Rummikub here....and so do I now!
A really good day and the rain held out right until the end and stop just before we needed to walk back home too - perfect! Brazilians really do hold good parties :0) |
