1. I was away from my family for the first time over Christmas
2. I spent most of the day sick in bed, with a high temperature and a very upset tummy!
3. It was not freezing either, but we did not have the +30 degree we had been having on the previous days, but it was still warm.
4. Finally we had a BBQ!!
I started the day by opening my stocking presents...(thanks Mum - very useful & nice presents!)
I then started to help prepare lunch before I felt too sick, so Beckie did it all and amazing job too...Yummy BBQ food!
Then lunch...
We then played a secret present swap game, which was fun. We read the Christmas story from the Bible, sang a song and prayed.
We then ended the day with a movie - my favourite Elf (Thanks Granny Mary!) and by this time I was really not well, so went to bed, but others played games.
Overall the day was nice and I enjoyed what I was involved with....I hope you also enjoyed your Christmas day where ever you are in the world :0)
I can see you look very flushed in the photo. It's rotten being ill when you are away from home and especially on Christmas day. I hope you are feeling better now xx
