When Beckie and I plan for group we try and be creative and fun, we want to girls to learn about Jesus, develop who they are, develop new skills, but also to have fun!
On Monday we had fun, we did a beetle drive...but didn't draw the beetles, that would be boring, we made edible ones!! The girls had to get a body - biscuit, skin - icing, hair - sprinkles, eyes - MnM's, mouth - sweet teeth, and then legs - strawberry tubes!
It was fun, but the girls really had to be patient as they didn't always get the numbers they wanted so had to wait, for example you had to get a 6 first to get the body, and then a 5 for the skin and the rest in any order...the legs took the longest as they had to get a number 1 for each leg and they needed six!
