Since last Tuesday we have had a team come from England to serve here and work with the children. They are a really awesome group of people with amazing hearts to serve and share the love of God with the people of the community but also with the staff of the Lighthouse! I have loved being involved with some of their work. I have also loved being able to bless them by being 'their driver'!
Here is us on a day trip out to see some waterfalls about a 2 hour drive from where we live...
We also have a new school starting: the DTS (Discipleship Training School), which is like the entry school into YWAM, all who want to work with YWAM longterm need to do the DTS first. It is an awesome basis into living a godly life, getting to know God and then going out into the world to make Him known. So we have 11 new students who arrived this week....all who are really nice!
So as you can probably guess the Lighthouse is not really a quiet, non-busy place! We have about 55 people for lunch at the moment!
I like how people come and join our community and all impact it in slightly different ways, some for long periods, others for shorter times...but all leaving their mark in one way or another.
