What's your Number One?

What is most important to you - what do you worship - what do you think will give you meaning - What's the number one thing on your 'most important' in life list?

Family? Friends? Work? Where you live? Your partner? Money? Religion? Your job? Your children? Your home or possessions? God? Your health? Your hobbies? Your looks?

We all have things that are important in our life - and I don't think there is anything wrong with that. For me as a Christian, God should be the most important thing - Loving him with all my mind, soul and strength, God should be my Number One.

Well I got an email from a friend, who made me think, she bought up a thought that was hidden in my mind....was God my number one? I had to really think - my focus recently had been so much about Brazil, and I so often say the phrase; 'I feel like my life is over that I am no longer in Brazil'....Brazil was everything, it was a dream of mine, I loved it, and was SO upset (and still am at times) that I had left. I had lost my focus that I went to Brazil to serve God - I went to Brazil because God made it possible, from providing support, money, visa etc...and that God directed me to come home due to health.

My number one I realised had become Brazil....

I am now working and re-looking at things! My life is not over because I left Brazil, and my life should not be focused around the country I am in or the work I am doing. It doesn't change me - God changes me. But God's love for me has not changed because I am not in Brazil. My purpose is to love God, and then I will get life through Him...

So I am working at putting my focus back on God and making Him my Number One - as He bring me life and life to the fullest....
