This week has been mainly focused on planning for our groups. So I have been busy with meetings, discussing ideas of what we are going to be doing for the year, trying to think of creative and different things for the children and young people to experience.
I have been preparing resources...the one that I had most fun with is preparing the achievements board for my girls group, it is going to be a garden and they will each get a flower stem and when they do good things they receive a petal to slowly grow their flower, so I made some grass, a sun and some white fluffy clouds to go on my blue backdrop!
I went with Beckie (the other leader of the girls group) to visit some of the girls to let them know they have been accepted into the groups, so it was good to see a tiny glimpse of where they live, and it got me really excited to start my groups on the 21st! I am really very ready to start building relationships and sharing to them about Jesus...
To live to the fullest and help everyone around me to reach their full potential in life...
