For a while I have been missing food that I can get in England, but I am not going to just focus on what I am missing, but also look at the new foods that I can only get in Brazil that I love. The two countries are so different in SO many ways....so this is just a tiny peek into the difference of my favourite foods or foods that I will miss depending on which country I am in...
England...
All the above foods I believe are quite self-explaintary.
Brazil...
Brigadeiro - a mixture of condensed milk, chocolate powder with a little butter, cooked, cooled and then rolled into balls and then covered in sprinkles - very sweet, but so yummy! |
Coxinha -they have chicken in the middle with spices, (sometimes cheese too) and covered in flour and then fried |
pão de queijo - cheese bread ball |
Açaí - a berry from the Amazon, whizzed into a frozen puree type thing, which you can eat with bananas and granola, also yummy with strawberries. |
Clearly this is rice - but I came to Brazil, hating rice, but I love how the Brazilians cook it with garlic and salt, it is so yummy - which is good I like it as I have it for lunch everyday! |
