Developing...

This post is to say: CONGRATULATIONS!
The congratulations is for me and the girls I teach swimming to. In a short amount of space I have seen some girls in my group not have a clue how to swim, and really quite nervous, and now they are swimming - not perfect, but SO improved! I am really proud of them, and I really hope they see their development too. To help them realise just how amazing they are doing Beckie and I have come up with the idea of a sticker chart of 22 things we would like them to learn, from simple things like: blowing bubbles in the water to more difficult things: diving and back stroke. I am excited to start this with them, so they can see their development, so they can feel encouraged, and proud of themselves.

I am learning that it is important to recognise the small achievements, especially when it comes to learning the language...so I would like to share with you my proud moment - which didn't go perfect, but I am developing and improving. I was able to teach a 20 minute swimming lesson, it did involve lots of action movements, and some talking, but I was understood.

So here is my well done sticker for the week....

What have you done this week to earn yourself a 'well done' sticker - go on think about....it is important to congratulate yourself when you do things!
